SAP Books

E-Business and ERP by Grant Norris, James R. Hurley, Kenneth M. Hartley, John R. Dunleavy, John D. Balls
Price: $34.97 (as at Dec 2002) Needs Credit Cards

This is one of the few books we have read about this subject to make any real sense. Chapter 9 on it's own makes the book worth reading (it offers a matrix which combines ERP maturity with E-Business maturity). Chapter 10 is also great as it discusses migration strategies (moving from one quadrant to the next).

Who should read it: Executives with strategic decisions to make, client business and technical managers responsible for the implementation, and senior consultants

SAMS Teach Yourself SAP R/3 in 24 Hours

We always had a quiet chuckle (actually a loud laugh) at the preposterous title of this book. In spite of this it remains a best seller on this website so we decided to buy it and take a look at it. We think it's worth the money (but the title might be better "introduce yourself to SAP R/3 in 24 Hours)
Who should read it: Everyone who is starting out on SAP. It is a bit old now (published in 1999) but at $17.49 it's good value. Some cases they provide "Rewards Cards".
